To all at CAKE
I just had to write to say how much Flick loved her birthday cake. She had no idea about it until she went to collect it from the Uni Reception and couldn't believe her eyes. It was so beautiful - a work of art. When her friends saw it, the comments made were 'awesome, fantabulous, amazing, magical and OMG!!!' They all had to take photos before anyone was allowed even a bite. It was truly wonderful. Flick wouldn't let them have any until the next day because she didn't want to spoil it. Unfortunately, they demolished it totally before we could have even a lick. They said it tasted 'unbelievable' which was no consolation to us at all!! Thank you so much for creating such a memorable party piece for a special birthday. We can't wait to see what you will create for her 21st - but I promise to give you more notice next year. Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for the fabulous cake you made for my husband's 40th Birthday on Saturday. It definitely had the wow factor, the whole table in the restaurant let out a gasp when it arrived and my husband was spellbound by it - everyone agreed it was one of the best cakes they had ever seen. I can also happily confirm it tastes sensational too - my daughter has been pestering non stop for one more slice! Thank you very much I will definitely use your services again and spread the word amongst our friends.

Just wanted to drop you a mail and thank you for the wonderful "Italian/Welsh" 50th Birthday cake you made for Franco. He absolutely loved it and all of our guests commented on how great it looked. However the best reaction came when they tasted it!!! It was divine. I have no idea how you manage to work around all that wonderful cake. Thanks again.

| Hi Tim and Jules I have not been working in Chester for the last week and will not be for the next couple of weeks and had wanted to come in and see you (which I will still do) to say Thank You very much for the cake which you made for my Dad's 65th Birthday. He is not an emotional person and day to day struggles to say please or thank you but his reaction to the cake was amazing, he stood and stared at it for a good few minutes and no-one else was allowed to touch it!! Whilst he always has a cake on his birthday (though probably a supermarket version!!) the fact that this was so personal and the attention to detail so great (and the fact that anything to do with his horse is a clear winner) this was like nothing anyone has seen from him before - it kept him quiet for quite a while before he announced that it was not for cutting and he wasn't prepared to share it! And so it remains with pride of place on the kitchen table (he had to put it there himself) and is probably now becoming inedible, no-one is allowed a piece and he is carrying photos of it around showing it to people - telling them that they can't have any!! Thank you so much, no-one can believe his reaction, we spent a fortune on his presents and he barely battered an eyelid (his girlfriend was quite upset!!) he says it is fantastic and no-one knows if they will ever get to try it, we had to go out and buy 2 supermarket cakes in order that people could have some! You are geniuses - highly recommended - the best cakes ever!!! Thank you Sally |

| Dear Tim & Jules, We just wanted to send you a massive thank you for making our 'dream' cake for our wedding on the 11th August! We were blown away - firstly by how amazing it looked and secondly by how amazing the chocolate mud sponge tasted! Every single person who had a piece (or two or three!!) raved at how gorgeous is was! Thank you so much! It went round all our 240 guests...and some even managed to have more than 1 or 2 slices - so thank you for calculating the perfect size!! We also loved the colour scheme - it matched our wedding colours brilliantly! I've attached a few cheesy photos of us cutting the cake for you to see how pleased we were! A million thanks once again - we wish you both ever success with business and we'll definately be recommending you to all our friends who are as yet unmarried (and of course to anyone who needs and occasion cake - so we'll be back!!) | Dear Cake
We would like to thank you for a fabulous cake for our daughter Taryn's Naming Day. Everyone wowed and cooed over it and that was just how it looked! The cake was on display throughout the ceremony and whilst the buffet was being served and then unfortunately it had to be removed to be cut (they dragged it off me!!!). When it did finally re-surface it was accompanied by the Hotel Chef who felt he had to come and tell us personally what he thought of it and I quote "I have been at hundreds of functions during my time as a Chef and that is the nicest cake I have ever EVER tasted". He told is that the icing was just perfect - not too sweet and the chocolate cake was to die for. Everyone agreed and I have never heard people talk about a cake as much as our guests did on that day! Thank you so much for the making the day that extra bit special. We will definitely be back!
